6:12am Yesterday
Little Megan continues to amaze me each week... lots of movement and hiccups. I am really getting excited! I was a bit disappointed because I could not get an appointment next week with the high risk ob... with vacations and all I have to wait 3 weeks... but I will see my regular ob sooner to offset it. My dog is in tough shape... still paralyzed in the back end and requires care for everything. Sigh. I am hoping she will rally and have some feeling in her hind quarters by Friday or the vet says it is likely not reversible. Not quite sure how we will handle it. It's like practicing for a newborn!
Anyway, it's finally a beautiful day here... I am taking the kids for a picnic and swimming-- hooray it finally feels like summer.

Sorry about your dog, I had to bury my sister's while I was at home. It's hearbreaking! But I am very glad to hear that Megan is doing so well, you are always in my thoughts!

I can't believe you are 26wks already...time is flying by! I am sorry to hear about your dog. We have been dealing with probs with our pup for most of the last month (not as severe as yours) so I know it is hard to watch them like that. I hope things get better very soon! Hope you are enjoying the wonderful weather!

Just wanted to update you all-- the dog has made a miraculous recovery!!! She is still not 100% and needs steroids and restricted movement, but she regained feeling in her hind quarters and is walking again! The vet says another 2 weeks of being crated except to go out and do her business and she may make a full recovery. Hooray!!!!
