About Me
I am a single mom. The most important thing to me is my family. Everyday I wake up, I am thankful that I have one more day to live and spend with my daughter. I work at a pharmacy but I am currently out on long-term disability due to my car accident and recent hand surgery #3. I can't wait to get back to work again. I like to work to keep my mind off of things. 2007 was a bad year...my daughter and I were abandoned by her father, I got in a bad car accident paralyzing my right hand and had to get my index finger amputated (among other injuries). Also this same year, my mother passed away at age 57 due to brain cancer. Just a months previous to that her mother (my grandmother) also passed away. Last year couldn't have been any worse. I just hope that 2008 is better to everyone.

Type: Loss of a ParentMy mother passed away in 2007. My mother had a really hard life. She had cancer twice and the second time killed her. I can't sleep at night because I have so much regret about everything...especially not spending more time with her before she died.

Close Accidents
I was driving home from work around 5pm on a beautiful day last April and just blacked out. Witnesses say that my car flipped over 3-4 times. My hands went through my sunroof as my car flipped and my car crushed my hands causing numerous injuries including paralysis of my right hand and an amputated index finger. I later found out that I had severe hypoglycemia (heck of a way to find out).

- I'm still waiting to see if the surgeries are going to work...praying I will get some use back
