About Me
Well, I'm 40 and have been married 2 years to the most wonderful man. We've been trying for 2 1/2 years. In July 2007 after my OB referred us for fertility testing I got pregnant. Unfortunately we miscarried at 9 weeks. Been through 6 rounds of IUI with BFNs.

How are you? How was the weekend? We went to the Aquatic Gardens yesterday...have you been? We saw a great blue heron, and egret and a beaver - all rigth next to the hood! When do you leave for Cleveland?

Thanks for your note. I have been stressing... My count was 15.7 verse standard of 20 so I think we are close plus the doubling of these joyful shots will hopefully do. The trick. By the way, I saw the monster cartoon yesterday which I believe your babies room is themed after..super cute! How are you doing?

OMG! 5 weeks away! How exciting! I hope all goes well for you over these next few weeks. I'm going great. Really feeling good too. NT scan was yesterday, all checked out fine with that and the bonus was getting to stare at M&E for about a half hour or so. Next viewing, January 6th. And, btw, we have a little friend that likes to call our kitchen its home too. God, it drives me crazy! I'll never forget chasing one around our den one night, I swear we had every piece of furniture turned upside down... we did finally catch it though!

Close Infertility
Type: Ovarian IssuesFound out that I'm almost out of eggs. We've been trying for 2 years and have gone through 4 IUI cycles. 2 with clomid 2 with Menapur.
Treatments
- Artificial Insemination Not Working
- Not for lack of trying! Hasn't been too bad, just some cramping and dashed hopes
- Clomid Not Working
- I've done 4 rounds of Clomid, one for Challenge test and 3 for IUI. Only 2 IUIs happened because I ovulated early and we missef it. Unfortunately didn't work.
- Ganirelex Working / Worked
- Just tried this cycle with it. Worked for me. I finally hung on to my eggs for a "text book" ovulation cycle.
- hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) Working / Worked
- I guess it worked but I've had it 4x and still not pg.
- HSG (Hysterosalpingography) Working / Worked
- Did it, I was fine. Didn't hurt too bad but take your advil before you go.
- Progesterone Somewhat Helpful
- Well, I didn't get pregnant so not sure if the progesterone would have worked. It's messy and makes me really bloated.
- Repronex Working / Worked
- Second round worked beautifully. 2 perfect follies but no BFP
Close Pregnancy After Loss/Infertility
After 3 years, 1 m/c, 6 IUIS, and 1 IVF using donor eggs we finally got our BFP!
Open Pregnancy
I'm finally 12 weeks pregnant after one miscarriage and two years of fertility treatments
