I'm divorced and have been since 1993 so I refer to that period as my past life....After 4 years of various symptoms I was just diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. My family consist's of 4 fur kids (dog's). I have a older brother and younger sister whom I'm very close to.

Interests
Reading, knitting, surfing the web...I particpate as much as I can in dog rescue and love horse's. Was very sad to see Babaro had passed away but am glad to see the new breed of horse racing owner's.....My biggest campaign is to stop horse slaughter in this country.....words to describe me are loyal, compassion to the unfortunate and to animals who cannot speak for themselves..

Close Fibromyalgia
I was just recently diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. I'm seeking to chat with all that have this disease. And looking for all kinds of up to date info about it.
Treatments
- Cymbalta Too Soon to Tell
- This drug is new to me I've taken it for 2 days now. Not too much experience with it yet.
- Elavil Not Working
- Elavil made me too lethargic, didn't help at all.
- Neurontin Not Working
- Worked when I first started taking it but as the dosage was increased it seemed to work less and less and I agained weight as well. I am slowly coming off of it and will beging higher doses of Cymbalta to see if that helps with pain.
Close Gastric Bypass Surgery
I am getting ready to have gastric bypass surgery within the next couple of month's! I feel I can learn a lot from the people on here.
