      Diagnosed when I was 19 and just waiting for the next thing to pop up!

      Treatments

      Azathioprine Working / Worked
      Side effects could be scary but it worked for me.
      Celebrex Not Working
      Just didn't do anything.
      Medrol Working / Worked
      By IV in the hospital, short term use only, not really any side effects in that short of a time.
      Plaquenil Somewhat Helpful
      Helps in some areas, not in others. No real side effects. Still get flares, still have sore hands...but probably not as much as if I didn't take it.
      Prednisone Not Working
      AWFUL! Side effects were horrifying...the weight gain, the round face, the acne....ahhh...not to mention the major psychosis!!!! I am unable to ever take this again.
