I'm 46 and in my 5th month of taking Gleevec. I will have my 2nd bmb next month and just want to say how happy I am for you to be in remission so soon!I'm hoping for the same, but my doc told me the percentage for that is low. What other support group do you belong to?

I was found to have an elevated white count in October. It is now January and I am still awaiting approval from my insurance company for treatment - is this usual? I have had the bone marrow bx which confirmed the Philadelphia chromosome which had been found on extensive blood work
