Adderall Working / Worked

Worked for years, caused him to pick at his fingers. All of a sudden caused tardive dyskenesia so D/C.

Concerta Working / Worked

Worked for my son when he was on it years ago. Started taking it again after Adderall failure and its working beautifully again.

Metadate Working / Worked

Worked for my son when he was on it but like Concerta, he started on lowest dose and ended up maxing out on it.

Strattera Not Working

Did not phase my son at all when he took this med. Like he wasn't taking anything.

Tenex Working / Worked

My son takes 1mg in the morning and 1mg after school and it works wonders for his anxiety. He's been on Tenex for YEARS.

Tofranil Not Working

Didn't work for my son. Caused him to rapid cycle "bounce".

Vyvanse Working / Worked

Caused rapid cycling which we refer to as the "bounce".

Close Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)

I am 32 years old and I have the genetic clotting disorders Protein S Deficiency, Antithrombin III Deficiency, the Prothrombin 20210A mutation and I'm also heterozygous MTHFR. My dad died at 37 from a PE and his mother died at 42 from a clot in the brain. I am on Coumadin for life. I have 4 beautiful children and feel lucky every day to have them and cherish every single moment with them.

Treatments

Coumadin Working / Worked

Effectiveness varies for me. My INR fluctuates for no reason no matter how close I watch my diet, etc. This is my only option so I still take it (11mg a day)

Heparin Working / Worked

I took 5,000 units of heparin twice a day when I was pregnant with my daughter up until the 37th week.

Lovenox Working / Worked

Used Lovenox once for 10 days before my hysterectomy and it worked fine.
