Close Fibromyalgia

dx w/fibo 4 yrs ago. Retired from Army on Med in part but also due to other ailments. Unemployed since retirement of 19yrs service. Burn ICU nurse by trade. Hate opiates but can't function w/o. Looking for ideas.

like accupuncture, the stress of the procedure leaves u in more pain--causes flair up--down for a while.

worked great. Moved--looking from warm H20 pool.

Cyclobenzaprine Working / Worked

Never has, never will.

Cymbalta Working / Worked

Currently on 60mg/daily. Not sure how well it works, but too sick when off.

Duragesic Patch Working / Worked

Worked the best but tolerance out of control. Up to 200mcg q other day.

Gabitril Working / Worked

Guaifenesin Working / Worked

If i had a cold, an expectorant would help. Not useful now.

Heat Working / Worked

on occasion. Sometimes not at all. Prefer cold with heat applied to aches.

Neurontin Working / Worked

tried and failed. Cymbalta worked better if I had to pick.

TENS Not Working

Nothing like little volts of electricity to stimulate pain

Vitamin B12 Working / Worked

Part of daily intake of meds

Zanaflex Not Working

One of first tx. Did not work. Should reconsider since it's been years.
