Close Addison's Disease

After bilateral knee replacement surgery I had a bad reaction to Coumadin, resulting in bleeding out of my adrenals. I now have Addison's disease due to damage caused by hemmorrhage. I am taking Cortef (hydrocortisone), but have not reached an appropriate dose, as I still have sleepiness and 'brain fog'. I am seeking help from others that have achieved normalcy back in their lives. How long does it take to find the proper dose?
