Close Endometriosis
I was diagnosed with endo when I was 18. The doctors couldn't believe that I could even have it at such a young age. I tried all kinds of birth control for the pain. I was able to manage my pain with birth control for a year and a half but 6 or so months ago I went off the birth control for side effect reasons and now am having the same pain again.
Treatments
- Extended-Cycle Birth Control Somewhat Helpful
- had problems remembering to take every day
- Laser Surgery Somewhat Helpful
- when they did my diagnosis with lap they lasered some endo off but it didn't rid me of the pain
- NuvaRing Not Working
- wouldn't stay in
- Ortho Evra Working / Worked
- was the best option for me, loved it except for it made my sex drive go down alot
- Progesterone Not Working
- gave me horrible side effects of body aches and hot flashes
