  I have a 16 year old daughter who was diagnosed with depression when she was 15...for years I thought she was rebellioning..it wasn't until I found out she was cutting herself last May that I realized that something was very wrong...took her to the emergency and she has been seeing a Therapist and now she is on mood stabalizers...it hasn't helped much...she is always mad and the meds are affecting her stomach...the doctors say she will get used to the meds but I wonder how long...It's been since Jan. 17 that she has been on medication...I feel for you...it's not easy...Me, I'm a single mom and have no support from family as they think that she is just milking the situation...I hope your daughter is doing well....

  You are welcome. My daughter is at her cc with a disability specialist as I type this, working on a plan for this semester. I am very nervous, because I dont want her to set herself up to fail, but have to have faith. At least this semester she has a safety net in place.

  UGH! Thank, you, katt1956. I almost completed a very lengthy journal entry and it just DISAPPEARED! I contacted the "help" section; I sure hope they can help me get it back.
