I may have figured out why the month seems to be going so fast. It might have something to do with the fact that I have been a week off when it comes to days. An example of this can be seen in my journal entry yesterday when I wrote that it was October 30. I absolutely hate it when I make bleeping mistakes like that.
This must be my month for mistakes. This morning I called the transportation agency to arrange to go to my nephew's house tomorrow afternoon. I gave them the address where I wanted to go and waited while they tried finding the location in their computers. I waited, and waited, and waited...
Their computers could not seem to find the address that I had given them. I was asked if I was sure that it was the correct address. I said that of course I was because I had been to that location several times in the past. They kept looking and could not seem to find anything. I was asked to check the address again and then call back later.
I went on the Internet and looked up my nephew's address. It was with somewhat of a shock that I soon learned I had given them the wrong address after all. The good news was that I was only 20 blocks off.
At least when I do make mistakes, they are big ones and hard to overlook. I make it easy for people to find where I've gone wrong. There is something good in everything bad -- I am living proof of that!

Jim We all make mistakes like that. They are some times known as *senior Moments* I'm only 46 and I have had a few of those moments myself. Many hugs-Stephanie PS Once on this site a made a typo and didn't notice it, I typed Jugs in a message instead of HUGS, It was very funny. HUGS-Stephanie

Ahhh...if I was there I would pinch you on the cheek.
We are referencing the cheek that lives right next to your nose.
You are having a BAH HUMBUG DAY.
The good thing about a BHD is that the paperwork involved to actually put you in the running to receive one is horrendous.
Also, there is only one BHD allotted during the period of one month to any individual. Family or group rates are available, however.
These days are non transferable.
I am sending you a pocketful of hugs, smiles, silly happy faces, goodness gracious's, and Good Golly Miss Molly's !!! to keep on hand if this situation persists. All have no expiration date. Apply liberally.
I am sure you will sending me an extra Hot Damn ! if I don't recover from my present ill state of mind.
When you see my perfectly imperfect friend, Jim, tell him to be gentle with that precious commodity that we all know and love.
This one is gonna hoit. Focus on the gifted goodness that you and only you possess. Let go of the negative.
If you want someone to put you down, I imagine you know of several places you could go to have this done.
You know how hard it is to get good transportation.
Why not stay home and keep yourself company ?
After all, you are the most intelligent person you know.
( and you are so damn cute ! )
GoodGod
I am aware of the "Senior Moments," darn it. My increasing age won't let me forget them. At least they aren't called "Golden Oldies for Oldies" or something just as irritating.
By the way, I think the Jugs instead of Hugs was a real hoot! lol
"You are having a BAH HUMBUG DAY."
No, not exactly. More like a BAH HUMBUG WEEK, MONTH, OR YEAR.
"When you see my perfectly imperfect friend, Jim, tell him to be gentle with that precious commodity that we all know and love."
Haven't seen him in a long time, but I'm sure he's lurking around, probably working on a new way to get into trouble.
"This one is gonna hoit. Focus on the gifted goodness that you and only you possess. Let go of the negative."
Hey, that really did hoit! I am probably one of the only positive negative persons around.
"Why not stay home and keep yourself company ?"
Good thought, but even my therapists say I need to come out of hibernation now and then.
"( and you are so damn cute ! )"
Where in the world did you ever get an idea like that?
JimK
Do you beat yourself up over your mistakes, like I do?
Maybe your subconscious did it on purpose so you wouldn't have to see family? Our brains are pretty remarkable at protecting us.
Let us know how the visit goes, if you make it. I'll be thinking of you. Hugs and Mojo.

Oh well, stuff happens........
I get 'brain on error lock' frequently.
Tough beans I say.
Hugs and Mojo to you.
