Thank you for the comments on my cat avatar. He's no longer alive - I actually wrote a tribute to him in one of my journals if you are curious about his personality. I like cats 'cuz they have distinct personalities ... plus they're low maintenance, unlike dogs.

Hi, I like your cat avatar ... he or she looks very tired, at least that's how I'm reading the expression on the cat's face. The cat in my picture looks like he is fending off paparazzi, saying, "No more photos, please!"

I work part time in the substance abuse community and hear the same complaints about seroquel. May I suggest that you see if they can adjust your dose so that you won't feel so sluggish. It also causes you to be forgetful. Be careful with that one and good luck with getting some help.

sORRY YOU ARE "HORRIBLE" BUT SO AM i - nice not to be the only one in the club. This is what I hear about antidepreswsants vs hormonal depression. I have been onmedication for depression/anxiety for years - my life being what it's been. My therapist said that whenunder prolonged stress, the brain chemistry actually changes. The medication takes the edge off but doesn't "fix" it. In some ways that's good - if one is greiving, one doesnt want to block feelings as they need to come out to heal. In Perimenohell, the depression is hormonal and unless one goes for HRT, it doesnt go away until one is through menopause. And even then there isnt a guarantee. My sister tried HRT and it made her worse. I am under tremendous stress, miss my mom and sis but absolutely cry more during PMS, which has gotten worse since perimenohell. But mornings - holy crap. My first shrink - I have been in and out of therapy since age 22 - told me depression is always worse in the morning. He was an amazing man, he got me through my dads suicide. Three years of therapy, meds and slowly I didnt need them anymore. Anyway, next time you cry, rhink of me. _ I will be crying with you. Love, Nancy
