Hey Girl, been reading your journal & seems like you are doing awesome! That's great! I haven't been on here for a long time, but need to get back. So much to do & so little time every day. Days seem to be getting shorter with age & heck alot more busy. I really need to stick with everyone in here though & feels good to get back. What kind of embroidery work do you do. Can you send some pics of some of your work? Thanks for aways being there for me. You are a rock, that's for sure.

A big hug for you
Hi, glad to hear you are busy. I usually find with DS that no news is good news as I know myself I turn to it more in times of desperation:o)
My son was referred to a psychiatrist by his medical doctor who thought he exhibited signs of mania and suspected bipolar disorder. I don't know where this came from. I've always thought he was ADHD, though neve had him tested in school due to social stigma. He always did in school as far as grades but he was full boy. Only a couple of fights in elementary school. No major behavior problems even in teen years.
I am the mother of two boys. Recently the oldest son was referred to a Psychiatrist because she thought he was suffering from mania and depression and possible bipolar disorder. I am confused as he has never exhibited bipolar syptoms to me. I've though he was ADHD and never even considered bipolar disorder. I don't know what to do or say to be the most supportive to him. What do you think?
Was in foster care for a number of years, then adopted by a wonderful couple who did their best to give me everything I needed. Have fostered therapeutic foster children for 10 years. Have two birth children. Met Birth family about twelve years ago. Have rare contact with five of the siblings and no contact with birth mother. Birth father passed away before I met him.
Mother of 25 yr old son who was dx a couple of months ago by pdoc. Need support on dealing with his disorder.
