I am 44 yrs old and was hit by a snow plow in 1993. besides my fibromyalgia i also have 2 discs in my neck with bone spurs on my cevical spine, I also have a herinated disc in my lower back L5 , I also have osteopenia in my left hip, etc....I also learn that my L1 to L4 is very thin. Its osteo something, I have 5 times risk of a spinal facture. Fun is. I also take care of my mom who has Alzheimers. Its tough. Also I have many other things wrong but I think chronic pain is the worst.

Anything that can keep my attention long enough. I love gardening . I am down to earth and learning to let nothing stress me. If I can not change what is going on, I just go with the flow. Why stress over something you really can't change.

hi sis.....im at mums..she`s finally back home ,after weeks in hospital:)(phew!).
It`s been a long haul...with so many set backs,you`d not believe!(I even had my foot run over ,and broke every bone in it!!)...Have a beoooooootiful purple cast now..which is great when your hobbling about ,trying to cook.etc!(thank heavens for leetle girls..he!he!)
Anyways...ray phoned me and said you`d called..one prob..i`ve lost my pink phone book...so ,if u can pop me a pm....with ur number ,i`ll gladly give u a buzz okey doke??:)

I take care of my mom who has moderate alzhmeirs,incontiant and also stopped walking the day my dad died in Sept 2006.I am also disable with alot of medical problems, my back,my neck ,I have Fms.CFS,chronic pain etc... I had aid up until tuesday. The company I hired her from wanted their payment in 4 days after they sent a bill. They say they can't meet their payroll. They call all their clients.So.I have been taking care of her. She is very clean, no sores etc... Any info would help.Thanks

Stage: Early OnsetMy mom has moderate Alzheimers. She is on Aricept and it has helped but she needs more. I have POA. I moved back home with her and my dad but dad passed away in Sept 06 and sometimes she cries for him and that breaks my heart. She sometimes thinks she did something wrong and thats way dad is not "home". It breaks my heart.
