I am a mom and teacher who currently homeschools my 3 kids. I'm married. We have 4 cats I occasionally sub in our local school district. I used to do tons of quilting but I have found that I seem to have lost some of my creativity and my huge energy boosts that enabled me to do the beautiful detailed embroidered quilts I used to do (because of the mood stabilizer). I find that very sad and try not to think about it. I miss making handmade gifts for everyone each year and kind of feel like not making any if I can't make them all. My husband is a Chem/Physics teacher and loves his dual spot motorcycles. My oldest son is a musical madman and plays bass guitar in our church youth band and occasionally in another. He plays 3 other instruments as well, piano, elec. guitar and mandolin. The 13 year old plays guitar (elec.) not in any band yet. He loves writing and reading great lit. My daughter plays piano and drums and loves acting and being with her girl friends.

My family, right now my interests revolve mainly around my kids because of teaching them at home. I still like sewing occasionally. I have really begun to enjoy reading again. I am active in my church. I'd like to find some new interests. I like taking the occasional required classes for my certification.

I showed bipolar signs as a child but never medicated, It seemed to go into remission, after the birth of my third child at 29 I hit a major post partum depression. After I finished nursing several years later I agreed to try anti-depressants. Years & 45lbs later and suicidal thoughts brought me off the meds (lexapro) The bipolar showed istelf for real. Very frightening, friends and prayer are all that kept me alive until I began new meds.
I am a mom of three kids son 15, son 13 and daughter almost 11. I've been teaching at home since the start and love it. It's not always easy. I do have my PA teaching certificate in elem. ed. and I substitute teqach once a week in our local district for some money. I'm active in my church and homeschooling is very popular in my area.
