I am 37 years old. I was married for 11 years and very recently left my husband and my horrible marraige because of emotion abuse. I am very tired of looking in the past over the bad things that has happened. I now want to start looking toward the future and the new life that I am starting. I know this will not be easy but I am excited to get started!

Congratulations great job leaving the husband doesn't the freedom of your new place feel great! I too finally got my apartment after 2 long months of being homeless. I'm just praying I don't lose it now because I still haven't found a job and probably won't make rent. Anyway Super step towards the wonderful new chapter in your life. Be Proud and Stand Tall! The rainbow was God's sign to noah that he was still their for him when he had to abolish the wicked and evil in the world. - This is what really made me realize what was going on in my life. Without it I would have still that that I was the bad person with all the faults.

Close Anxiety
Almost 3 years ago I was diagonsed with panic/anxiety. After 3 years of therapy and various types of treatment I have learned to live and actually thrive while still having this monster lurking in the shadows
Treatments
- Breathing Exercises Working / Worked
- This has been key to my controling and living
- Valium Working / Worked
- sort term remedy. Still used maybe 1 time a month when exposed to triggers. Must be careful very addictive
- Zoloft Somewhat Helpful
- This helped me work the first 6 months after diagnosis. I then had side effects and quite cold. I did experience withdraw symptoms.
- Yoga Working / Worked
- This is another key in living with panic anxiety.
Open Panic Attacks
37 year old married female no children but have a wonderful dog that I love! Have had panic attacks since childhood but got worse 4 years ago.
Treatments
- Ativan Working / Worked
- I started taking about 4 years ago to help me while I was waiting for Zoloft to kick in. Still use when absolutly necessary, maybe 4 or 5 times a year. Have to becareful of rebound anxiety
- Meditation Working / Worked
- Helped me a little to reconnect with my body. Sometimes hard if anxiety is high becuase my mind does not want to relax
- Patience Too Soon to Tell
- This is a work in progress.
- Positive Thinking Working / Worked
- Use this all the time to deal with the negative self talk that I deal with duing an attack
- Psychotherapy Working / Worked
- 4 years of therapy and stil going. This has been wonderful from me
- Breathing Exercises Working / Worked
- Use this all the time. Sometimes when I feel a panic attack start I am able to breathe through the beginning and avoid having a full blown attack
