Well, done. I've been with soicial sevices and commuinty people. They will improve my flat if I put money towards it. The hospitalhas decided to put steriod injections in my spine. Not loking forward to it but I am amazed at you. Love and Hugs Zone xxxxxx

Close Prostate Cancer
My husband has been diagnosed with prostate cancer 12/2007. He has gone through a year of luprone shots. He now has finished radiation therapy; he will get 25 treatments. He received the seed implants about 3 weeks ago; doing quite well.
Treatments
- Radiotherapy Working / Worked
- finished treatment; did well.
Close Hepatitis C
I most likely got Hep C when I received a transfusion in 1959; though I wasn't diagnosed until 1997. Liver biopsy showed minimal damage. I have not had any treatment for the condition. I mainly feel very tired . I am not coping very well with this condition and my depression is making things worse.
Open Depression
Was convinced that I had moderate depression for most of my life. Started treatment with meds in 2000. Been on several types; not been real happy with any so far.
Treatments
- Prozac Working / Worked
- Have gone back on the med; will be doing 40mg daily. I can tell a difference already.
Open Caring For Aging Parents
My Mom is 81 years old and a recent widow. She went for an initial evaluation for Alzheimer/ memory loss a year ago October. They see that she is has moderate memory loss but suggested that she get evaluated again 12 to 18 months later; to compare and spot any progression. She has yet to go for the second evaluation. My brother is in denial. My brother is living with her and refuses to allow her to come live with me and my family - I am the older daughter- in MO she is in MI.
Open Hypothyroidism
I was diagnosed with a goiter in 1980. I had the tumor removed and half of my thyroid with it. Been on medication ever since then.
Treatments
- Synthroid Working / Worked
- It is keeping my levels down but I am still very overweight and sluggish.
