Close Prescription Drug Abuse
After my Dad died 6 years my mom changed. Trying to stay numb, she got addicted to perscription drugs. (she is in denial) She has fell several times once breaking both ankles. I took over her med. to monitor but she hides them from me. I have 3 sisters but they themselves are addicted to perscription / street drugs. I'm all alone in this and dont know what to do. We have already had words over this several times. I'm afraid she will move out and I dont know what will happen then. Any advice?
Close Diets & Weight Maintenance
I started ww it will be two weks this coming Monday. I have already lost 8 1/2 pounds. My goal is 60 pounds. So far I have done really good except my church has been fasting so I havent been using all my points and thats not good. I dont go to classes I'm just doing ww on my own. Good luck to everyone.
Treatments
- 3 Hour Diet Working / Worked
- Really good way to learn to eat healthy. I joined this and ww together. I count points not calories but I eat every 3 hours.
- Atkins Diet Not Working
- Not healthy
- Physical Exercise Working / Worked
- I try a couple times a week. Feel better when I do.
- Slim-Fast Somewhat Helpful
- I stayed hungry but lost weight.
- Weight Watchers Working / Worked
- Love it!
Open Parents of Children with ADHD
I have 3 children 20, 13 and 9 that have ADD and/or ADHD My 13 year old son is a very good boy but has trouble staying focused and on task at school. My big problem is my 9 year old daughter. Like most girls she has a mouth on her but lately wen she acts up and I punish her like make her go to her room she says remarks like I wanted to anyway. It drives me crazy.
