So true. Pretending to go along with others opinions on my life, or trying to make their suggestions work for my life, when they are not in the situation and never have been does nothing to help myself. Like someone saying we understanding your pain for the loss of Angel. Unless we have lost a child we cannot know what the pain is like. We can be sympathetic, console you the best we can, but I never say I know what you are going through, because I can't. We can be friends, show love, care, and concern, but never really have the real solution to others problems. So being true to ourselves to me is just do what we have to do for ourselves to get through one day at a time.
