I am a 48 yr. old, very happily married, truck driver. We have no children, ( other than our 4 legged ones!), and live on a small ranch in Eastern WA. My favorite things to do are to spend time with my hubby and family, my critters, (2 dogs, 2 cats, and 6 horses), and being outdoors. Camping, fishing, riding, gardening, 4-wheeling, crafting, and just soaking up the fresh air! I am new to FMS, and have been having a pretty rough go of it! All the things I love to do have become distant memories because I always seem to feel too bad to do them anymore. I know that I have to learn to live with this stuff and not give up and I'm looking forward to brighter days!

Close Fibromyalgia
I'm a 48yr. old happily married truck driver! I live on a small ranch in Eastern WA and own 5 Quarter Horses and 1 Paint horse. I have FMS and to be honest, it's really kicking my behind... But I am not a quiter! So lets see what we can do about this!
Treatments
- Cymbalta Working / Worked
- It has REALLY helped with the depression I have from the fibro, and I think it helps with my low pain days
- Heat Working / Worked
- it helps to quiet the muscle pain.
- Neurontin Not Working
- could not take, made me feel horrible, gain weight, and did not help with my pain
- Ultram Somewhat Helpful
- work well on my "good" days, but on my "bad" days I require stronger pain meds, ie; Vicodin
- Vitamin B12 Working / Worked
- I take a super B-complex and I can feel a difference in my energy levels and the "fog".
- Elavil Too Soon to Tell

Type: Clinical (Major) DepressionHi, I have been living with depression for well over 10 years. UGHH! It has recently gotten worse with winter and being diagnosed with Fibromyalgia/
Treatments
- Lexapro Somewhat Helpful
- It made me tire in the beginning, but no major side effects to speak of. Helped at first with both my depression and anxiety, but latley it dosn't seem to help either.
- Positive Thinking Working / Worked
- When I can conjure it up, it works great!
- Cymbalta Too Soon to Tell
Open Degenerative Disc Disease
I have had back problems most of my life due to an auto accident and than spending the last 30+ years riding and training horses. I have Fibromyagia and wasw just recently diagnosed with DDD in my lower spine and neck.
