4th of July....one of my favorite Holidays...because I LOVE fireworks!!!!!!!
Today I don't have to work, and that automatically makes it a good day!
I'm going to relax, take a dip in the pool....eat some good food, and go take in the FIREWORKS!!!!!!!!!!
For all my gambling years, the 4th was nothing more than a day to spend all night and all day in a casino, breathing in the thick second-hand smoke and surrounded by desperate people banging on the machines for hour after hour.....throwing away my life in units of hours, hard-earned money, and self-worth....
Life is so so so much better without gambling

I'm so happy we're doing it...living a better life without gambling...way to go us! And I'm happy you don't have to work today, people are gonna' have to see without you today ;) I love it when you say "Never give up"...you say that, don't you! I say it now, too. We don't have a July 4th holiday here....... we celebrate our national holiday on July 1st.
This year, to celebrate the holiday, I did pretty much the same thing you did to celebrate yours........ I lived my life and enjoyed myself.
It's kinda fun, eh? Just like you, I'm finished with gambling.

Hi Dianne...so glad you're off work today...we all need a little break now and then. (oh wait, I've been off for 3 months!! lol ). I watched fireworks in NC...beautiful weather with great company...and for the first time can say I loved the holiday. I'm glad we're not gambling, we'd be missing out on more life ~ and how sad is that? Backward is not an option.
