I am retired from the Air Force. I was an Aerospace Medic (EMT cert). If you have any medical questions feel free to ask me...i worked in a clinical (including ER, surgery, womens' health, oncology ward) setting for two years. I am not a doctor, but i know a lot, feel free to ask. I LOVE my family and friends, i would do anything for them! I am a proud Californian. I love to Paint, work out (when I can), do yoga and hang out with family/friends and my puppy ZIEKE! I also enjoy photography. I am currently attending college. My major is psychology and my ultimate goal is to attend graduate school to become a clinical psychologist.. I try not to take things for granted in life and i love to laugh and joke around! Diagnosed for sure Feb 07 after 2 MRI's showing multiple lesions and a positive spinal tap. I do ok just having trouble keeping compliant with the daily shots. I get attacks pretty frequently the scariest one was losing my sight but thank God it came back! Sometimes the headaches are just so horrible. I have had them for 2 straight years every day every hour every minute.For the most part i deal with it well. It's others that don't understand that fuels my frustration with this lame disease.
My spine is kinda pushing against my lungs so i gotta breathe with my chest muscles... I can't lay down flat on my stomach or back. that hurts really bad. I really wish i would have caught it early to wear a brace and fix it and I can't see myself going through the surgery
Well i'm only 19 so the docs were surprised to find some clots in both of my legs after a long flight. I was admitted and treated. I guess I inherited this from my grandmother and 3 uncles who died from strokes..I am glad that we caught this early so i will not suffer the same fate, god bless them.
