Hi Jill,
Yawning isn't a trigger for me, but as a yogi and dancer who also missed out on summer, I just want to commiserate that I know how hard this time must be for you. You will get back to your yoga and pilates again, hopefully soon. 6-year old daughter, large dog: you're special to the family you've created. My best to you and I'm certain better days lie ahead.

Close Trigeminal Neuralgia
Diagnosed today! After 9 weeks of sinus treatment, and then TMJ treatment I finally saw my neurologist. I will be starting 50mg x2 per day of Tegretol. I am pain free today- But I just hold my breath and wait for the painful stab:(

Finally after weeks of horrible pain and mis diagnosis- I saw a wonderful oral surgeon who did a full battery of tests. I have TMD. He has prescribed, muscle relaxers, PT and a mouth splint. I will get the splint next week hope it works. PT starts next week as well.

Open Migraine Headaches
I was diagnosed with Migraines when I was 3 years old. (35 yrs ago!!) I have developed a lot of strategies to help myself- along with meds of course. I can manange most of the time. But sometimes I get knocked flat. 2 weeks ago ended up in the ER on Morphine- thats the first time (and hopefully that last) that has happend. I also have a diagnosis of TMJ which makes the migraine situation much worse. Each day that is headache free is a gift!
