    • About Me

I am a 41 yr old registered Nurse.I retired 6 yrs ago due to Multiple Sclerosis. I have 3 children and 2 have recently come down with mrsa.I believe the medical community is really downplaying the seriousness of this communicable disease. The public needs to be educated on what to look for and how quickly they need to respond when infection is first spotted.

Glad to hear you are all doing better with the MRSA. Glad the Solu-Medrol is working. For me, Xanax works for everytihing. I think I am so crazy that the placebo effect works well with this. So be it. Cleaned the oven yesterday so am sore and stiff all over today. NEVER cook chicken at 500 as it is grease city when it is over, but delicious. Cabot home today since 9:45. He only had to go for math review. Even though IB math she is making them all take the midterm and I say good for her. He has a 99 but the important thing is that he know what he is doing. He is exempt from all the rest of exams, so lucky me I have him home all next week. He could go work at Target but, of course, he has opted not to. Needs to "rest". I want to see Tom Brady LOSE this weekend. I doubt it will happen but one can dream. Being a Philly fan, I really hate the Patriots. Cabot loves Beaverdam, Montepelior and Rockville because it is because of them we have school closings. His girlfriend lives in Beaverdam ( middle of nowhere) and he thinks he is going to go get her Sunday to come here for the day. I told him NO if the roads are bad. She seems to be here all the time but I hear tell she has a huge house in Beaverdam (dad is some big deal at Circuit City) but they are always here and I am always feeding the troops. I guess I shouldn't complain as at least I know where they are. Today not a great day for me. Cleaned the oven yesterday and now feeling the wrath of the left side. Should be better tomorrow. I have to trek over to the West End for meat at Tom Leonards. Cabot is supposed to volunteer tomorrow at Science Museum. I told im if it is snowing he can go but he has to come Broad to 33 to Ashland Rd. No 95 as they are crazy there in the snow. I think he blows me off. He won some kind of a savings bond there for who knows what and he is volunteering the 24th when the legislature is there ( he is on break because he is except from all his exams). I love him to death but he needs to go to school. Still waiting on money from schools to make a decision. He knows he goes to the highest bidder but he wants to go to ODU honors because they have nice dorms with en suite bathrooms and they will do your laundry and clean your room for a small fee. Not too spoiled. Again, I am so glad the MRSA is taken care of. Hopefully the county can keep it under control. Have a great day and root for Tom Brady to go down! "talk to you soon". Judy Z

How is the MRSA? Everyone better I hope. Cabot upset as Hanover had school today. He has off next week due to senior exemption for exams. If I don't find a job soon, I think my husband will have a fit! Hard finding something when you are middle aged, have MS and have been typing for 16 years! Hopefully something will come up! Again, hope all is well and the topical meds are helping along with the orals.
