Glad to hear you are feeling well! Crazy with work too - I can understand! Actually I am not doing too well - having downslide again. My cystogram that I had on Monday did not go well - actualy I'm not even sure what he did. I ended up having a catheter put in for this test without my knowledge and he filled my bladder too far causing trememdous pain and aggravating an already tender pelvis. he was supposed to be looking at the nodule he found OUTSIDE bladder by uterus, but instead was in my bladder. Then he acted like had amnesia or something and said my endo's fine, it's ok to have pain daily as long as not bad and to take pain pills. I'm in process of switching drs., but not having luck today!

    • Close Endometriosis

I was diagnosed in 2007 and had surgery. Unfortunately a month later I was back in pain. My pain can be bad but I have to function anyway. I don't know where I am going with my treatment next. I have learned so much through research but still have so many questions!

      Treatments

      Extended-Cycle Birth Control Somewhat Helpful
It helps for about the first month then I start to feel the pain after about the start of the second month.
      Laser Surgery Not Working
after the second month out from my surgery i started having bad sharp pain in my uterus. Hip and back pain again, waking up with headaches and all of the ibs symptoms. the more I researched the more common I found it to be that laser surgery can leave behind endo.
      Surgery Considering
excision surgery, however I have not been able to find a doc in my area who is able to do this.
      Lupron Considering
I do not want to consider Lupron but I dont know another way to go as of yet. I am not looking to have children right now so I dont see the need in having surgery again unless I could find a specialist who knew how to do the excision removal of endo. Unfortunately there are not any I know of in my area.
