Words Do Matter
Just thought I would pass along something I picked up here and there.
A syndrome is defined medically as a set of symptoms with unknown …
Retired and struggling financially. Lost several careers due to flareups and the winds of fate. I am trying to live a quiet life now, it seems to really help me cope with ME/CFS. I enjoy working outside on the property my Dad left me, when I feel up to it. Also I love my three cats, they keep me sane. Creating basic meals from whole grains, organic veggies, fresh fruit has also been a source of joy and support. My social life is non-existent, unless you count cats as friends, which I do. I love organic gardening. I have just been doing containers lately, the soil here is very alkaline, barren, and poorly drained. It may even have been a trash dump at one time, I dig up auto parts and the like now and then. I have been trying to stay as active physically as I can, despite all the negative things that follow after exercise.

Hi Richie, I had a feeling you'd jump in on my tale of woe journal!! Thanks for the support!! Hugssssssss!
I was diagnosed in 1999, but my first real flare was in 1964 when I was diagnosed in Miami as "a glandular form of mononucleosis". I have the advanced form of the illness if you like to categorize. I am involuntarily retired by circumstances and multiple disabilities both cognitive and physical. I live with six cats, essentially housebound, but I am surrounded by a nice property with woods and animals thanks to my Dad who left if to me as my home. I have a lot of pain all the time.
