Close Hearing Loss & Deafness
Type: Sensorineural (Severe)lost hearing in right ear at age 8. in left ear at age 11. have some hearing in left. total deaf in right ear.
Treatments
- Hearing Aids Somewhat Helpful
- because type of hearing loss i have, trouble getting hearing aids to work
- Lip Reading Somewhat Helpful
- was good lipreader until i got my hearing aids. can still lipread somewhat
- Sign Language Working / Worked
- love to sign. it is wonderful!
Close Female Sexual Issues
had low sexual interest before son was born. lost all interest in sex after he was born. bf thinks i don't love him or find him attractive anymore.
Open Infertility
Type: Other Uterine Issueswhen trying for first child, found out i wasn't ovulating. gave me med. and told me still only gave me a 25% chance of ever getting pregnant. our son is a miracle. not sure if caused by my hormones or my other female issues
Treatments
- Clomid Working / Worked
- took a year, but it finally worked and we now have a beautiful 21 month old
- Ovulation Predictor Kit Working / Worked
- worked for us. my first ob didnt even tell us about it. we didn't know u could get one. then when my new ob told me about it.. we used it and got pregnant on the first try
Open Parenting Toddlers (1-3)
my son is 1 1/2. he is our pride and joy

- he likes it ok. the teacher says he is really smart. at loss what to teach him because he has already learned everything he needs to know until he is about 3!!
