I have discovered the secret...
A glass of MILK, with the fiber supplement blended in, taken with Metformin COMPLETELY gets rid of all symptoms.
Metformin blocks Vitamin B12 absorption in about 30% of people. It does this by first blocking calcium, which results in the B12 being blocked. This results in all kinds of problems, fatigue being the most noticable for me. However, reversing this is actually very simple. Eat 1200 mg of Tums (or any Calcium Carbonate supplement) during the day - it gets rid of acid stomach, which met can cause, gives you much needed calcium and actually reverses the B12 malabsorption by 30%.
Believe it or not, I actually feel BETTER than I did before! (And I felt pretty good) I was feeling groggy in the mornings, that disappeared the day after I started taking Tums. I was constipated, that's gone now too. I haven't experienced ANY nausea since taking the Met with milk.
I'm going to up my dosage in another week. I'll let you know how that goes! ^_^
