  I was having my first round of IVF last April of 2007, and we put 2 day 5 embies in and went and had my first beta and it was 127 they were very happy 2 days later I went for my second beta and it was 159 they told me that this was not good and I would miscarry. So I waited to miscarry and to get a period and after a week nothing so I called my RE and they had me come in for a blood test and it was in the thousands but they still were not optimistic they told me it was problably an eptopic preg and to come in for an U/S. So I did and it was not eptopic there was a sac right were it should be but still to early for a heart beat the next saturday they had me come in for another U/S and I was all prepared for the worst and that they would give me a shot to get a period and low and behold there was a strong heart beat none of us could believe it. Long story short my miracle baby did come 3 months early but he will be 1 in 2 weeks and is doinf wonderful. DON'T GIVE UP HOPE till there is absolute proof it is over. I will be praying for you.
