THIS IS THE DAY THAT I START ALL OVER. EVERY DAY IS THE DAY I START ALL OVER. THERE IS TROUBLE IN MY FAMILY. I AM BUSY TELLING MYSELF ALL THE THINGS I HAVE SAID TO MANY OF YOU. I AM ENTRUSTING US, MY WIFE AND MYSELF, TO THE CARE OF THE PHYSICIAN WHO NEVER LOOSES PATIENTS. OUR RELATIONSHIP HAS REACHED ONE OF THE MANY TIPPING POINTS THAT ALL PEOPLE IN RELATIONSHIPS REACH. MY WAY OF LIVING RECOVERY IS BEING ATTACKED AND CRITICIZED CONTINUALLY. I AM USING ALL THE GRACE I RECEIVE TO GIVE BACK LOVE IN PLACE OF THE HATE AND RESENTMENT THAT IS MISDIRECTED TO ME. I AM A PERSONALITY WITH A HUGE NEED FOR APPROVAL. I HAVE A HUGE, AT TIMES UNACKNOWLEDGED EGO. I ALSO KNOW THAT PROBLEMS SUCH AS THE ONES WE, MY WIFE AND I ARE UNDERTAKING TO SURVIVE, CANNOT BE NAVAGITED WITHOUT DIVINE INTERVENTION. AS A PERSON OF FAITH, I AM NOT CAREFUL ABOUT STATING IT. I AM A REAL MAN, AND I LOVE A REAL MAN, JESUS OF NAZERETH. I HAVE FELT IN MY OWN HEART THE STIRRINGS OF THE PARACLETE, AND YOU CAN LOOK THAT UP; I AM DONE LECTURING ABOUT THAT.
I AM HAVING PROBLEMS WITH ACCESS. I AM ATTEMPTING TO USE THE MACHINE AT TIMES WHEN IT IS NOT SO OFFENSIVE TO MY WIFE. SHE IS VERY ILL, VERY NEEDY, AND VERY JUDGEMENTAL. I AM MIRRORING THAT BACK TO HER, AND THAT IS NOT WORKING. SO I AM SEEING MY SPONSOR A LOT, GOING ON A MEN'S RETREAT SUNDAY MONDAY TUESDAY. I WILL NOT BE ON MUCH FOR A SHORT TIME.
MEANTIME, I WILL HAVE A MEAN TIME. BUT ALL OF YOU WHO READ THIS ARE DEAR TO ME. I HAVE RECEIVED THROUGH CONNECTION WITH YOU, A NEW CONNECTION TO THE LIVING WAY. I PRAY AND MEDITATE OVER EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU. I HAVE HAD ISSUES IN THE PAST WITH SEVERAL PEOPLE. ALL OF YOU DESERVE MY GOOD WILL. I PRAY THAT YOU ALWAYS SHALL HAVE THE SAME GOOD WILL FROM ME THAT I RECEIVE FROM MY GENERAL WHO NEVER LOSES, HAS NEVER LOST; A FIGHT, A SQUABBLE, A SORTY, A BATTLE, OR A WAR. AND MAY THAT PEACE THAT NEVER FAILS KEEP YOUR HEARTS AND MINDS IN HEALING GRACE AND PERFECT LOVE.

Hi bob it seems like you have a good insight in to your problems and what you need to modify in your behaviour to get solutions - if you have a big ego then you can modify your behaviour to lessen its impact. It sounds good that you are going on a retreat as this will give you and your wife breathing space and you can both come back to each other fresh and ready to start again.

Sometimes we must 'Be still, and know that HE is God'. He loves you and wants the best for you and will guide you through all storms. Your friends will, on a much smaller scale and with great clumsiness attempt the same.

Where would I go, but to the Lord? I'll tell you where. I go to you people, I go go us. We know how to love and support each other. I will go to the mat for any of you, whether or not my personality is grating on you at times. All of us need the strength and love in common that is to be found here. Or, we would not be here. I cannot help but put in a pitch here for the members who have been banned for unexplained reasons. I can only assume some violation of the terms of service is the explanation. The fact is, that some bannings appear to be for partisan petty purposes, and never knowing for sure only keeps the fiery resentment alive.
Guess best is to let it go, and follow the suggestions of our good Community Leaders.
