Well, snow in Ohio -school snow day -felt like I had been hit by a bus -still with bad sore throat, no voice, just feeling sick -so called off work. Noah is sick too -really snotty yellow-green nose, eyes matted shut with yellow drainage again this morning -pretty sure he has pink eye. So make 2 doctors appointments -one for him and one for me. Took 35 min. instead of 14 to get to the appointment due to the snow -I have strep throat -the doctor wasn't going to test me for it, but I think he could tell I wanted to be tested -positive. I hope the antibiotics will work quickly. Noah next -pink eye and probably adenovirus -so if the virus is in his nose, then why do we need antibiotic eye drops? Doesn't make much sense to me -it would seem that the virus was causing the eye drainage too. Laid in bed most of the day after going to the pharmacy to get the prescriptions filled and having a few bites to eat. So far, Noah's asthma hasn't acted up. Clare and Sophia played all day at a neighbor's house -probably better they are not around us sicko's. My mouth is STILL bleeding -doctor said -it will take awhile -try washing mouth out with salt water said I would try -but too tired. Clare is supposed to be in a spelling bee tomorrow if there is school -it is not actively snowing right now, and people have shoveled out some. Have to take the dogs to the vet tomorrow too. I just hope I get some sleep tonight, and feel better in the morning.
