I'm 24 yrs old. I am married to a great guy. We've been together for 6 years and married for 3. We are trying to conceive our first child, but to no avail so far. I work as a teacher at a daycare. It has its benefits and its downfalls. But I love "my kids", despite what they put me through some days :) 2009 will be a better year

hey there thanks for the hug the other day ( sorry it was so late ) I am soo glad to make my goal congrats on the seven lbs im glad the med and the new exercise with the girls os working I bet your tired but loving it though The weight will come off before you know it one can wear me out I d hate to imagine two LOL

Close Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)
I was diagnosed with PCOS on a year ago. I'm dealing with it the best I can. It took too long to be diagnosed. But now that I know, I'm fighting it as best I can.
Treatments
- Clomid Somewhat Helpful
- Working...sort of. I've taken 4 rounds, from 50-150 mg. My follicles grow, but I don't release the egg. :(
- Femara Working / Worked
- Took it this month (150 mg) and it made me ovulate for the first time in 18 months. Waiting to see if it was completely successful
- hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) Working / Worked
- Worked this cycle with Gemara to make me ovulate.
- Metformin Working / Worked
- I'm on 2000mg/day. It has worked pretty well. I've lost a little weight and I've gotten pretty regular with my cycles.
- Progesterone Somewhat Helpful
- it worked, but the cramps that went with it were pretty uncomfortable. It also made my arm go numb at one point.

- Folic Acid Working / Worked
- hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) Working / Worked
- Did an hCG shot this cycle and it coupled with Femara made me ovulate
- Metformin Working / Worked
- I take 2000mg . It's helped regulate me and even helped me drop a few lbs.
- Ovulation Predictor Kit Working / Worked
- Told me I wasn't ovulating...which was correct.
- Progesterone Somewhat Helpful
- hated the side effects and had an allergic reaction. won't be taking this again.
