I am as well sorry for your loss. I know my dad is himself again and with God and our lost loved ones, that's what pulls me through most of all. They say time heals so I pray each and everyone of us heal our broken hearts and live like our lost loved ones would want us to.

Just read your discussion post of 2-14, I am so sorry to hear of your FIL's progression. Our ALS clinic had the talk with us about a vent and a few other things for as the disease progresses. So, I can somewhat understand what you're going through. I pray that the new life growning in you helps to give you strength. Prayers to you and your family. Brenda

Close Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)
My father-in-law was just diagnosed with ALS Dec. 18th 2007. He believes Lipitor is the reason but I think it may just triggered the disease. My husband is very hopfull that a program he found online will help his father to get better and live till at least 70, he's 58. The book he found is "Eric is Winning" which is a very insperational story and I do believe in his theories. I just want to know how to help my husband get through this difficult time and stay happily married!
