It Was A REALLY Bad Evening And Night
Yeah…….
Between the sudden nosebleed from both sides of my nose, to us not being able to find Spot around 9:30pm for over half an hour and the related frantic search (we don’t let our cats out, but husband had gone in and out once or twice so we considered the possiblity Spot darted) to Ms. Thums sensing when I’m going to have a hot flash and wake up so she sits on my head at 3:44am and I haven’t been to sleep since.
Yeah…….
And on top of that, it’s CALENDAR WEEK. Phantom crap spews forth. 
Oh – Spot was in here the whole time, cowering in a tight spot under the bed, from the illegal fireworks a lot of the neighbors were setting off. 
Someone over in the Menopause group said it so well, that she’s isolating to protect others from her wrath, the wrath she never knew she had.
Roomba anyone?
Now, I must take my leave and go clean up the puddle of cat yack in the litter room……..
RRRRROOOOOMMMMMBAAAAAA…….

I'm going to get out of the way of the rooooommbaaaaa now. But I will be here....or under the bed with Spot....but never out of your reach!!

Ay yi yi! What a night! Junior was a little more snuggly than usual last night, too, so I didn't get much sleep, either. It sounds like my night was still WAY better than yours, though. Take some time to be by yourself and maybe just watch movies or something today. With some ice on your head for the hot flashes. =8-) Love ya!! *HUGS*

Sounds sorta like my night. Fireworks all around and Bo running around the house. He would follow me around the side of the house that was as far away from the fireworks as he could see and then would take off 3/4 of the way around the house. Twice of that was quite enough after my day!
About the meno---- My best sleep is always right after the hot flash and I get warm after the cold sweats. Is that how it works for you??

Sounds like quite a night you had! I hear you about the illegal fireworks. Our Canada day was July 1st, and the idiots are STILL lighting fireworks. Most pets are terrified by that, so I sympathize. Ughhh...hot flashes. I can't remember the last sound sleep I had that was flash-free. I think you need ice cream...and pie...and cake...and a BREAK!!!!
