I'm married and have 2 wonderful kids 13 yr old son and 8 yr old daughter. I have worked for the IRS for 15 years. Since GBS Oct.7, 2006 I have lost 135 pounds. I actually want to put on about 15 because I look too thin. Am 5'8" with "big" bones!! At least they are have good density and don't have to worry about osteoporosis... My seizure disorder has gotten worse since the surgery. VERY IMPORTANT to talk with docs about medication absorption since removal of lower intestines..never thought about it until had probs.

Close Gastric Bypass Surgery
43 years old and have been obese for a number of years. I had the surgery Oct.07 and have lost over 125 pounds. Had complications 3 months later with perforated ulcers which I had never had before. In Sept had hernia repair from the second surgery. I now want to gain 15-20 pounds. To go from one extreme to the other is a mind trip!! Diet is what I have the most trouble with.
Close Epilepsy & Seizures
Have had disorder since 1978. I was always very well controlled; 2-3 generalized seizures per year. I have been lucky to keep driver's license. Oct.2006, I had Gastric Bypass Surgery. Sei-zures have increased. 2 at work,which NEVER happened prior. Meds don't seem to be absorbing into system.
