I had my first appointment with my new urologist yesterday. She wants me to have a urodynamics study, because my last one was ten years ago. I'm sure that a new generation of computers has changed the study protocol in the intervening years, and am curious to learn just how it has changed.

Hey Paxton,,, I hope you really like your new urologist. Not sure what a urodynamics is suppose to do or show, but whatever it is, I pray that everything comes out great. Hopefully is will show the dr. what they can do to help you out. Sorry its been awhile since Ive talked to you. Hope everything is going great. Julie, the urodynamics test I had some ten years ago involved checking the nerve response of my inguinal region with needle electrodes, inserting a catheter into my bladder, filling it with saline, and recording the vesicle pressure and detrusor nerve response. I was in so much pain that the embarrassment went right past me.

Been there done that. Let me know how things may have changed. Mine test was several years ago also. Two nurses and a bedside commode with a lot of wires.
