    • About Me

I'm happily married, busy working mom of twins. I really didn't have time for RCC when it showed up. :) I'm glad it has made its exit.

I too, am a cancer survivor and it feels really great. My kidney was as large as a baseball and the mass was sitting right on top of it. It was accidental that they found it. If I had not gone to see another type of surgeon, for indigestion, bloating and IBS, I would have expired August 2007 as my surgeon told me this. Only God knows whether he wants us now or later. I prayed my heart out for about a month before and then felt peace before the procedure. Now, I pray ALOT. This cancer has actually changed my outlook on life and beyond. I am so thankful. I go every 6 months for a cT but so far everything is fine. I go again in Dec. So, TXTea hang in there and know we care. Hope to be your friend. Love, Carol

TxTea, Cancer does not have to be a death sentence. I'm so happy in your case it is not! Look at this as a learning experience. You have seen life from a different prospective and now have the knowledge to encourage and lift up people with RCC. Live life to the fullest, go for your medical check ups OFTEN. Congratulations! Love Sherrie

Thanks for your support. It still doesn't feel real. Maybe after the surgery. I have a good support group , so I know I'll be fine. Right now it just feels like I'm having my tonsils out or something. It's a strange feeling ? John

You are not an imposter, but you give people like me hope. I have no ideal what I’m facing yet and know that there are survivors means so much to me.
