Close Chronic Pain

I started having chronic back pain in March of 2000 after my first back surgery to take out a disk went wrong. Since then I have had 6 more back related surgeries each one causing me more back pain than before. I have had 2 fushion surgeries and a nerve stimulator implant that went wrong when the device was proven malfunctional and should have never been used. I am to the point now of not being able to work and I can just make through a whole day. My spine is degenerating will be parrilized.

Treatments

Cymbalta Working / Worked

it has helped me a lot as I have considered suicde its my happy drug it also has pain releiving benifits too.

Flexeril Working / Worked

worked for awhile but had bad side affects

Heat Working / Worked

It helps with the muscle spasums

Hydrocodone Working / Worked

it helped for short term pain but my dosage got to be too much

Lyrica Not Working

it didn't do much fore

Methadone Somewhat Helpful

I hated it it made me see and do things I wouldn't normmaly do

Morphine Working / Worked

I take 100 mg twice daily just to make it through the day headaches, drowsiness cotton mouth but its worth it

Nerve Blocks Considering

Neurontin Not Working

Oxycodone Working / Worked

worked for right after surgery but made me feel out of place and time

Physical Therapy Somewhat Helpful

TENS Not Working

Wellbutrin Working / Worked

wellbutrin plus celexa was the replacement for cymbalta which I really liked but Medicare dose not cover Cymbalta so now I take 4 tabs daily for the 1 tab of cymbalta' These work but not as good as cymbalta and I have a lot of the side affects with them too.
