      I have a wonderful 15 month old sson that has bilateral pendular nystagmus and optic nerve hypoplasia. It can be so frustrating dealing with family with this either they feel like my son is somehow damaged or needs to be pitied. It's hard to make people understand that he is wonderful just the way he is that there is nothing wrong with him and he is perfect for him.
