When we moved into our new house last year, we were able to paint my son's room a nice blue. We had also picked out our daughter's color back then...bright pink...but for whatever the reason, we just finally painted the room today. And is it pink. Now I'm sure once we get the furniture back in there, some posters on the wall, it will dim the intensity of the color...at least that's my hope.
But I guess it doesn't matter what I think because my daughter loves it...and really, that's all that matters to me.

When we moved into our house the little girl that lived there before had her room pepto pink and you had to squint when you walked in. The old owners said they had to find the same color for their new house because she loved it so much.

Lisa picked out a soft pink for the new baby - at least that's what she thought from the paint chip. Oops, it's really bright, but heck it has faded or we all have gotten used to it. It is kinda nice on a really cloudy day when the world is gray. I hope you come to love it or at least live with it.

When I was a nanny the girl I watched at a BRIGHT pink room. I'm talking magenta pink. Even when we put stuff on the walls etc the color didn't dim. It was so bright I couldn't go into her room without getting a headache. What made it even more difficult was that she loved being read to in her room. I couldn't do it. I use to bribe her with anything to be able to read her a story in the living room.
I hope the pink-ness of the room dulls for you.

Aww Dr J when she leaves for college and you look at those faded pink walls (if they havent been painted again)you will remember how excited she was that she had her very own pink room..all hers painted with love by mom and dad!

Aww how old is she? Iemember going through the time's when I liked that color lol! When my dad and I moved from Grand Rapids to West Bloomfield my room was pink. 2 years later I had it painted white. We even took out the carpet and that became green. I moved out of my dad's at the age of 21 and moved to Clarkston, Mi I have been here from then on and will be 25 in September

We had friends who painted their daughters room pink, and honest to God, it looked like it was sprayed down with Pepto Bismol. I hope it does dim down some, but hey, if it makes her happy, that's what matters! 80)
