Tomorrow I will see my brother walk across the stage and receive his Ph.D. in Political Economy and Public Policy...and I couldn't be prouder. Not only will it serve as the culmination of nearly 7 years of hard work, but it will truly represent a lifetime achievement of which there have been many ups and downs. And I will be honored to be able to watch his moment in the sun, for he has earned it.
Congratulations brother.

What an amazing achievement! I like reading positive journal entries like this one. Check out my last two pictures, we finally "officially" adopted our baby Elizabeth here in the US. We have already adopted her officially in Guatemala. She needed to be officially adopted in both countries. She is a good little girl, keeps us smiling all the time...
