Hi Dr. Jeremy, there is a debate in the parenting newborns group about whether or not babies should get the H1N1 vaccine, do you think you could drop by and give us your educated opinion? Thanks :)

Dear Dr Jeremy, I just sent you an e-mail with a detailed message a few minutes ago, concerning an entire topic of mine that seems to have mysteriously disappeared. Could you please look into this matter? Thank you!

High Five
CountryMe (08/01/09)
I was reading some of the profiles here of parents with children that have IgA deficiency (I don't see any adults here with it) and I saw you here and was just curious in your state what treatments they give for IgA deficiency?? I was not diagnosed with it until I was a adult and I was sent to Chapel Hill and told there was nothing they could do for it. I have many other health problems that my doctor has contributed most of them to my IgA deficiency! Even the Advanced Oral Planus I have that if you read in my Journal will tell you how bad I suffer with this and how none of the meds help me and some even made me worse. Everyone has to eat to survive but the pain is so severe many times I don't eat and for sure I can NOT eat healthy no matter how much I want to as those foods hurt the worse. A stick of butter (yeah yuck!!) softened on bread with no crust is about the only way I can eat bread because the bread hitting the sores is too painful to eat without the butter coating on it which is about my only diet now. Even water is very painful to drink even using a straw! I have heard Colostrum (sp?) is good for IgA but it hurts my mouth too bad to try to chew the wafers. Thanks for your time, Country in North Carolina
