Close Shingles
I've had shingles for a month now, without any end in site. Apparently a kidney infection brought them on. I have all the "typical" symptons, with intense pain, worse at night, can't sleep, etc. The doctor had me on Valtrex, Predisone, Vicoden and I am going in 1/4 for alternative pain management consultation. I feel depressed, despairing, fearful and can't function in the normal day to day routine. I'm not able to work and lost my job. I have no medical insurance, all adds to the despair.
Treatments
- Valtrex Working / Worked
- Didn't seem to work. All meds add up to constipation.
