I've been married to a heavy drinker prone to depression for almost 11 years now, and we have had our share of difficulties but seem to be working things out now :-). I'm a strong, driven person with two children (from my first marriage) that I adore. They have recently told me that they want to live with their father and I'm devastated. Hoping that that we can find some middle ground, a more open parenting plan. I'm funny, silly and a very loyal friend. The glass is always half full so far as I'm concerned. I feel I need to stress that I am here for support not dating. Just throwing that out there, k??

Interests
I love the beach, the sounds, the smell, the waves, walking along the shore as the water tickles your toes and finding the perfect shell! Quiet time for reflection is important to me, but I do love to get out and do a little dancing. Is there anything better than letting loose to some great dance music?? Who cares if you look like a frog in a blender so long as you're having fun!! I enjoy good conversation, learning new things, getting outside and smelling the fresh air, walking trails, enjoying time with friends, cooking and so much more.

I am sorry you are feeling this way. I have lived with alcoholics all my life. Dad, uncles, brothers, my ex, now my son. I'm here for you if you need anything Scarlettrose and finding serenity77 is right its a tough decision but you can get through it
