We've been together for 12 years and married for almost 8 of them. We have a 4 year old son. Our relationship was never perfect and we had problems, she recently admitted that she has being seeing someone else intimately. It's been about 4 months since she has come clean and I told her that I forgave her and want to work things out but my heart is crushed and everyday it seems to be getting more difficult to stay in this relationship. I don't think I can get over it.

- Couples Counseling Somewhat Helpful
- We've been off and on with counseling for years, I had a negative approach to counseling early on but now that things have changed I am looking for answers from anywhere.
- Forgiveness Somewhat Helpful
- I keep telling her and myself that I have forgiven her. But for some reason, moving forward is extremely difficult for me.
Close Gastric Bypass Surgery
I finally decided to with GBS in July of this year, finished all my requirements and had my surgery on Oct 10th and have lost 50lbs since the surgery. I feel great, but I know I have much more work to do to get myself where I need to be.
