I am 22 and I've known I have Endo for 2 1/2 years. It's so hard how it's impacted not only my life...the constant pain, weakness, inablitly to enjoy life, etc...but also the lives of my family and friends.

I love the Lord with all my heart and I desire to glorify Him with my life. He is my strength and my all in all. I also love...spending time with my family and friends, children, cooking, knitting, playing the piano, reading, working-out, talking, learning more about endo, trying to feel better!

Close Endometriosis
I was diagnosed with Endo in 2005 after several years of dealing with pelvic pain. I've had 2 laproscopic surgeries (Sept '05 & Mar '07), which helped with the pain for a couple months, but then it came back worse than before. In October I finished 6 months of Lupron, which worked amazingly for me, but now I'm having pain again. In November the dr. put me on extended-cycle bc. It doesn't seem to be working. I don't want a hysterectomy yet because I'd love to have children someday.
Treatments
- Aygestin Not Working
- I ended up having stroke-like side effects after taking it for 5 days. Still suffer from memory loss and migraines from it.
- Extended-Cycle Birth Control Too Soon to Tell
- Herbal Magic Not Working
- I've tried a million different herbal remedies, but most of them made me feel worse, hardly any positive results.
- Progesterone Not Working
- Surgery Not Working
Close Hypermobile Syndrome
I was diagnosed with HMS in 2000. I've never really been on any medicine for it, just pain killer. The pain and stiffness has progressively gotten worse over the years. One thing that helps me feel better is making sure I workout 3-4 times a week. I go to Curves, because the workout is really easy on my joints.
