I’m With You
I just read your post in accidents "understanding the chair". I am a 24/7 live-caregiver to a man with MS who is confined to a wheelchair. He CANNOT walk nor do many of the things most of us take for granted. I have heard people say some very thoughtless remarks to him. But the one the gets me the most is when people RAISE their voice to talk or speak to him...as though somehow being in a chair means you're deaf too !?!?!?. Peace

Missed ya, cat... I love to sing, but I have to sing when no one is around or I will run them out of my house. I could not sing right now to save my life. I can bearly talk. I've been coughing so much that I don't even have a voice left.

Hi DI, I had a Fibro flare, terrible disapointment in health care, over whelm at home trying to do house work, and after a long day, had a hard and scary fall. I did get to have a wonderful time at the pet store. A woman let me hold, pet, kiss and be kissed by her 7week old St. Bernard. OH GOSH, it was so wonderful. I didn't know I could derive so much pleasure from a dog. She was a fabulous experience in my life.

Thanka so much CDL, completely understand. I am very busy too at the moment developing a new forum for PRN that will be much more user friendly. I have Christmas and 4 birthdays this month too, plus the daily work for PRN and maintaining our current forum. Take some time for you girl, enjoy a nice latte for us both while your out shopping, I have not been out of my house in almost 2 years now. With no pain care at all I can barely walk or stand. Close Celiac Disease
I was diagnosed with Celiac Sprue decades ago after suffering terrible symptoms for my entire life. I still have nerve damage in my legs that causes severe pain. There is no pain medication that relieves the leg pain. Have tired them all! Use whirlpool and exercise.
Treatments
- Gluten Free Diet Working / Worked
- I adhere strictly to the gluten free diet. However, I am left with severe pain in my legs from nerve damage.
Close Bereavement
Type: Loss of a ParentMy mother died on Dec 13, 2007 this year. Today is my birthday. I am the first born and the first to go thru a B-day without her. I did not want to open any presents but had to for my family. This is so terrible. Members of the family are angry at each other. If I tell them that I am having a bad day, they get all upset because I am supposed to be the family rock.

- They come and sit with me when I cry. It makes me feel better.
