There is a mansion a few streets from my humble home, has this stained glass window in the front under the roof entrence. low sset. The glass looks almost like pearl, but coloured. has a picture of a water bird and some reds. Its a circle. Look for it every time we drive past. How do you handle the lead that goes on it, do you have special ways of handling it and somehow getting it to stay there? Exotic glass's. What do they look like and how do you find them all in the different colours? fasniates me when I see them done. Must take many hours and a big space to work in. I used to do hand baltimore patchwork till I did a really good job of smashing my wrist and moving bones etc, now cant bend thumb to hold, so along with knitting and irish fine crochet that is out. Going to hand emb class at present where I can learn using an emb hoop. tried some smoking this aftn, my hand is letting me know it isnt keen on that idea at all. After my experience with freehand machine emb, really wanted to do it so much too, got the courage today to see if I could still use my sewing machine as like to sew things. Just did some lines of different stitches and so far ok, but not rushing it. My memory is great for tv and reading, cant remember, so can always watch a dvd now and then several times over. read a few lines of a book since this photo problem and cant read anymore, and seldom remember anyway. Strange the things you do remember. have never forgotton my DH yet. remind him he isnt that lucky when he brings it up. Cant go for lovely walks anymore. Surgen who operates on our olympians and top sports people did my knee op, had a bad day, and now so do I. But have a disability scooter to get about on, just not in rain, snow, which we dont get here, or deep puddles. Due to the electics in it. Gives me some independence in life which we all need. Love to see some pics of your work on your page someday, really has me interested. Hope you sell some at what they are worth, nothing less, or have an art gallery who does for you. You said clean and decorate. My sisters partner goes to work with a room one colour, comes home it is another. Latest idea is saving bits of left over paints, going to do a rainbow on her garden shed so it looks bright in the cold and snow they do get down there. Do you sew things on machine for putting about the place too? I did one patchwork quilt by hand, back before, and one on the machine. Both in cupboard at present, just to hot for either. take care, and enjoy what ever your working on now. Do hope you have some of these in your own windows.
Do you also design your own patterns? Never worked out just how the glass is cut to fit like a jigsaw, just so exact. And alll the different colours there are of glass. How long did you go to class's to learn? lol

I had a TBI in Feb. 2007.Had a Craniotomy. New skull in July.Got really luckey with outcome. Except seizures, better than what else would have happened.
