Hi Anne, Thanks so much for your message. I really appreciate it and the hugs help a lot. I'm hanging in there and my thyroid, although not great, has not gone nutty from the stress which is good. How are you these days?

Hi Anne! Thanks as always for thinking of me. My eyes are still about the same and I'm completely exhausted all the time- I decreased my meds to 3.75 4 weeks ago and will go for labs this week- I'm hoping that I'm still hypo to explain how I'm feeling. How are you these days? Take care and thanks again! :) Sue

Close Hyperthyroidism
Jan. 2007, I noticed that my left eyelid was puffy and swollen. I thought it was an allergy to contacts. I was given antihytamine drops and tablets by the optomologist, and topical cortizone creams from a dermatologist, nothing changed. Not until I mentioned that my hair was falling out that I was told to get my thyroid checked. Six months had passed! I had spent hundreds on medications and visits. I was told I had Graves.
Treatments
- Methimazole Working / Worked
- in process of finding correct dosage It has worked, but I have become hypothyroid.
